These pearls are from Naga beings that inhabit the astral worlds. Indonesian shamans refer to them as "Naga Siluman." They appear half-human, half-serpentine. They are considered to be the children of the Hindu goddess Kadru and are "demi-gods." They live in a subterranean world called "Bhagavati."
